How to Make Your Own Free Website And Your Free Blog Too eBook Jason Matthews
Jason Matthews has written a practical, no-fluff guide to creating free blogs and websites. I learned a things or two from his comparison of blogs and websites, something I never really understood. He lists a variety of free hosting options and offers pros and cons to each. He presents the clearest and most straightforward treatment of Search Engine Optimization I have ever seen; and I appreciated his plain talk about the fact that his suggestions will not make you a great success overnight. Creeping up from obscurity to prominent ranking in the search engines can be and probably will be a long, incremental process.Matthews gives a good overview of the technical difficulty of various hosting options from having to code and upload your own site, to WYSIWYG editors, to visual editors, to drag and drop templates. Each has its advantages and limitations.
Best of all, everything in this book is in plain English that anyone from beginner to proficient can understand. That is an accomplishment of its own! I have seen few books so well written yet able to offer something new to someone like myself who has experience building websites.
On the other hand, you will not be an expert after reading this book. You will understand your options for free hosting. You will understand the advantages of blogs and websites and why you may want both. You will understand how to select a host based on your experience and site building skills.
All in all, I would say you can't do better for the price.

How to Make Your Own Free Website And Your Free Blog Too eBook Jason Matthews Reviews
I have tried making my own website before, but have not been successful.
Mr Matthews book has helped me over the main hurdles, especially widgets, and so far I am nearly sailing along with the website.
Thank you for your concise and easy to follow information.
I found this book very interesting and highlighted many parts I needed to Make my own Free Website. I'm just finishing up the final touches for my own book and am very interested in Websites, Blogs etc.
What a great resource for working out how to make your own website. Lots of useful information in an easy-to-read format.
This book is SO much more than the title indicates. The information goes wa-a-ay beyond blogging for free, making this book an incredible bargain. It also covers topics such as creating a domain name, book (electronic and paperback) cover design and formatting, search engine optimization, marketing your book, and so much more. Also, I thought the 2010 publication date meant some of the information would be out of date, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the author has made updates to the book with more recent statistics and data. I don't normally write reviews, but this book was so outstanding, I just had to spread the word.
Jason Matthews has a great talent for writing technical advice for the non-techie. He adds humor as well as insight. I bought this book after reading his 'How To Make Market And Sell Ebooks For Free'. I highly recommend both books.
This is a great book! Very informative and useful. Since I'm a newbie author, and still new to the publishing world, I am working on building my author platform.
This book has been perfect in helping me find free, cost-effective ways to go about doing so. I've never read a more detailed book. I commend and thank you, Mr. Jason Matthews, for this great piece of work!
Hugely recommend for all people looking to build a platform or just to get a website and blog up.
Jason Matthews put together this book pretty nicely. He has loads of good information in it that will help you get started on making a FREE website and FREE blog. There are plenty of links for examples and tools you can use. He gives his opinions on certain areas, but also gives information on other tools so that you can choose which way would be best for you.
NOTE Do not expect to learn HTML with this book! He does not cover that topic.
